"Charming chateau — postcard of a stay in Loire Valley at a very reasonable price. Lovely atmosphere, tranquil property with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the countryside. Lots of charm. Staff was attentive and helpful. Dined at the restaurant one evening— a very good price for quality for the prefix meal. Location was perfect for day trips to various Chateaus."

"Fantastic stay in a real castle. Great staff on reception and warm welcome for us and our bikes. Had dinner in the restaurant which is located past the hotel's garden area so a little bit of a walk but well worth it for a tasty meal using their own ingredients. There were several stink bugs that came in through the window but easy to get rid of them and they were harmless but probably just the time of year and because we opened the window on the warm side of the building - however worth noting...

"A wonderful find. More of a bed and breakfast on a working farm. Room is not very big but it does have a private bathroom. The hosts offer a lovely continental breakfast included, as well as parking. It is very quiet and restful. Chickens often cross your path. There is also a working mill which generates power. The host is very nice. There is a an excellent restaurant a 5 minute drive away called Chenin, suggested by the host. Not to be missed."

There were several stink bugs that came in through the window but easy to get rid of them and they were harmless but probably just the time of year and because we opened the window on the warm side of the building - however worth noting if you are super anti-bug. We would have appreciated a kettle in the room but you could get coffee etc brought up if required. Excellent breakfast with option for added eggs and bacon. Overall amazing opportunity to stay in such a fabulous location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Really beautiful gardens and fun to explore."
