"Plenty of historic and beautiful French villages and sites to visit or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the accommodation. Jacques, Chantal and Roman were very welcoming and attentive without being invasive. Very patient with our limited grasp of the French language. Nous apprenons le francais. 😁 Limited resources in Auriac but would highly recommend Comme Une Hall bar and restaurant in the village, had a wonderful meal and drinks with the owner/chef afterwards. "Petite maison de caractère (un ancien four) bien rénovée et très bien aménagée dans une campagne calme. Aux abord de Revel, belle ville très animée avec son marché des producteurs le mercredi soir et son superbe marché sous les Halles du samedi. Toulouse, Albi, le Lac de St Féréol.... Les propriétaires sont très gentils et au petits soins pour leurs hôtes."

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...
