"It’s a hotel room. Nothing more. But it’s clean and the location is excellent"

"Our room was clean, but since it was overlooking the water, had a rather musty smell when we first arrived. We were able to air it out. I notified staff and they informed us that the building we were in is next on the rehab list, hopefully removing that musty smell when first arriving. The balcony view was first rate. Breakfast was great! Only drawback: carrying suitcases up the stairs!"

"This stop was intended as a stopover on the way up to Bar Harbor. It turned out to be the best accommodation of our trip. BEAUTIFUL vistas outside out room (114) and a spectacular property overlooking the bay. Wish we could have stayed for days. We spent the majority of our time on the extended room (porch) area watching the world go by. Staff was unfailingly friendly and the room itself was cozy and comfortable. A raging 5-star!"

"I traveled with my partner for our anniversary! The staff were so lovely and let us check in early as our room was ready. We had a beautiful view of the water and parking was so convenient. I sprained my ankle a couple weeks ago so the being that close to everything on commercial was a treat. Caught some amazing stars there both nights too! Love that it’s still family owned and operated, you get the extra attention and care. There was music Saturday night and we ate at the restaurant twice on the rooftop, both were great."
