"We were just passing through Altenburg staying for one night so booked this based on price rather than aesthetic appeal and had no expectations of greatness. We were very pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and clean with a good bathroom. The bar also helped things along. Overall I would recommend this hotel, it is much better than the picture would suggest. "

"Lovely property, larger than it looks online. All equipment you could need for a week, with easy check in to gets keys. Very clean and tidy and in a great location Short walk from bus and traim station. Also a couple of restaurants, chemist, Netto, Aldi. About 15-20 min walk to centre or short bus ride. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Ill definitely be staying again"

"Verdreckt und Baustelle. Der Eingangsbereich des Hauses ist voller Bauschutt, Scherben und Müll. Das Treppenhaus ist auch Baustelle, so das man nicht sauber in die Wohnung kommen kann. Im Bad gibt es abweichend zur Beschreibung keinen Fön. Handtuchhalter oder Klopapierhalter gab es auch nicht. Der Boden ist verdreckt mit Fliesenkleber und Farbe. In der Küche ist der Backofen aufgrund der Verschmutzung nicht benutzbar (dicke alte Fettschicht). Wir haben für 5 Personen gebucht und haben zwei...
