"A perfect introduction to Port Macquarie.. and equally perfect for my first time staying in a bnb. After careful planning to stay somewhere that didn’t feel like a hotel and was close to the Pacific Ocean, I stumbled upon Nobby’s 9. Close to everything, beautiful scenery from each room’s balcony, a quiet apartment complex with secure front door and lock up garage (USA sized utes won’t fit it there). There were builders on each side of the property at the time of my stay (June ‘26), one property in early stages of development. Something to be mindful of if you’re planning on quiet mornings. Carefully thought out are the items left in cupboards around the unit, all the things you would need to accommodate a long term or short term stay. Being from a cooler part of the country.. I was warm enough in June without using any of the electric heaters. If I was staying in summer, would be struggling without an A/C unit I think. I’m yet to experience a NSW summer so can’t confirm. The listing instructs tenants to bring along their own linen which I did, there were also spare pillow cases and quilt covers in the rooms along with on the beds. After staying a week, I opted to stay again for another 7x nights.. wonderfully homely and peaceful. The view during the days and the purr of the Pacific Ocean during the nights, simply amazing. When driving, less than 2x of your favourite tracks to get into town. Morning walks are beautiful. Highly recommended"

"We had an excellent stay at this resort and were genuinely surprised by the quality of the standard room. Everything we needed was supplied, the space was spotless, comfortable and roomy for our family of 5. We especially appreciated the surplus of towels, including beach and pool towels, and loved having a full-size washer and dryer in the room. The only small issue we noticed was that the bathroom exhaust fans didn’t appear to be working. The family friendly features were fantastic. The playroom with arcade games was such a hit, even the adults couldn’t resist a few rounds of Space Invaders! The pool and spa area were wonderful, and treating ourselves to room service made the stay feel extra relaxing. A special mention also goes to the attached restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and every meal we had was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return!"
