"We had to leave and had to make a new reservation at a different hotel. We drove in and waited at the gate for 15 minutes and in pitch darkness before someone came to open the gate. The gate is almost a quarter mile away from the main buildings. We honked multiple times and I had to leave the safety of my car to knock at the gate. "This resort is not finished and not fully operational. The main building and pool are under construction and not looking like they will be open any time soon. We were the only guests at the resort (which was terrifying), so, they had very limited food items and a very small staff. We were handed a menu, but they had none of the items on the menu.
