I actually had an historic tour the last day I was there. The accommodations were great as well. The staff greeted me with courtesy and was very informative with helping me locate things to do. "Amazing property. It has amazing view of the water also. From my 3 days stay I can tell that the owner really put in lots of effort into building this dream resort. While there are some minor mechanical issues, the overall comfort is fantastic. I will return to this property for sure. Some minor suggestions: Maybe use sliding doors for the washroom instead of the traditional door due to the limited amount of space inside the washroom. Instead of the roll down blind for the balcony doors, maybe use curtains instead as it’s easier to get in and out of the room. "

"We loved our stay at the Hippocampus. All of the staff we met were really friendly and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was good (although a little more variety would have been welcome). The hotel is in the heart of the old town making it perfect for exploring beautiful Kotor - but it does mean it is noisy at night being next to a bar - the only downside in an otherwise amazing stay."
