"Emmanuelle was a great host! We were greeted upon our arrival with a wonderful welcome basket with lots of eggs, tomatoes, wine, etc….Very peaceful countryside setting. Absolutely perfect swimming pool. And in these excessively hot temperatures, the air conditioning was very very welcome! Spacious and comfortable with 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, calm countryside, setting close to the beautiful little village of Simorre!"

"We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped."

"Well built and located property. @40km from heart of Pyrénées on a hill top that gives you breathtaking views from the south facing property with decent sized pool. Lovely hosts explained well on how to operate the house. It’s ideal if you don’t mind driving a bit into the hot spots of lac d’ooh; Loudenvielle, Cagire loop, Cirque de Gavarnie, Louchon, Cauteret. ...et al ....most of them are about 60-90 min drive and at least the second half of the drive is beautiful through the mountains.
