"Excellent place to stay if you want to be away from crowds and near nature. The sky and tree view from the igloo windows and ceiling were fabulous. It was a very peaceful place to stay to watch the snow falling and to view the Northern Lights. The igloo was clean, modern, and roomy enough for two people. The onsite restaurant served excellent food and drinksyet the dinner choices were limited. The included breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had with numerous hot food choices and wonderful blueberry juice. The Staff were amazingly kind and helpful and there was no wait when we needed them. Santa Clause Village is a ten minute walk from the igloos where you will find additional places to eat and a few shops. A highlight was meeting Santa Clause in his charming office (no cost) and standing at the Arctic Circle. There are some additional activities for fees at the Village. Note: If you take the Santa Clause Village Bus from the RVN airport ($9.00 US) you will have a walk to the igloos which is challenging in the snow or mud. It would be helpful if they offered transportation on demand from the bus stop to the igloos in their Polaris. The taxi from the airport is $70.00 US. We also took the Santa Clause Village Bus into the city center of Rovaniemi and took an excellent Northern Lights Tour with Arctic GM Experiences Northern Lights Rovaniemi Guaranteed Viewing and Unlimited Mileage. Our guide was wonderful, and we saw the beautiful lights at the end of the season. "

"High quality and new facilities with every you need in the kitchen. Beds were comfortable as well. Nice living area. Hotel was close to the city center and walking zone. Bus top was steps away. The river trail to the arboretum was nearby. All around excellent choice for us."

"We are family of four with two small kids (4and 6) we have stayed in their separate apartment- it has two rooms and great living space. Flat/ apartment was very comfortable and had all we needed , you are in the heart of Rovaniemi and everything is close from the food stores to restaurants and any travel agency for day trips. We have use BeyondArctic (they had a discount if you stay in hostel). Our breakfast was included and it’s plenty of choice (all continental) , but what was the best that we could have a hot buffet lunch after all our morning trips at the hostel (ps is very popular with locals and gets very busy , so sometimes you have to wait for a table , but most people are here on their break and don’t take long). Buffet was different every day and we found things for our kids and us , meaning we could just relax (kids eats free!!!) Overall great place , friendly staff , amazing location and we were often just hanging out on the swings inside the restaurant/reception while kids were playing in a little play area with lots of toys. "

"We had an amazing experience at Aito, and we highly recommend it! The spa facilities were excellent, with finnish sauna and jacuzzi. Snowmobiling was an exciting adventure that allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings in a fun way. The lake-view igloo was simply adorable—though small, it offered stunning views and a cozy, magical atmosphere. We absolutely loved the Junior Suite. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true home away from home. The staff at the resort were incredibly helpful and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, our time at Aito was unforgettable, and we hope to return one day!"

"Great place for a family vacation! Amazing sauna on the lake experience. Also, you can glide on the lake (they have special sled). No ice skating on the lake though, unless you have your own skates. "

"Best option for value, location and comfort. I arrived close to midnight and the staff were so welcoming. Public bus to/ from airport and Santa’s village are a few blocks away. Just pay with a credit card. 2 shopping centers within 2 blocks and a 12-15 minute walk to the Articles Garden to see the Northern Lights. Sauna is warm 6-9 pm and unisex. Very nice. Bed was comfy and bathroom large and warm. Definitely worth iit and affordable. "
