"This is a perfect place from which to explore the entire area, including Stonehenge in Salisbury which is easily reachable via the train just across the street, as are local ferries and buses. The old port district, Cathedral and Portsmouth Museum are a pleasant 15 to 20 minute walk, and there are plenty of food options. Highly recommend! "

"The Royal Esplanade was the perfect spot for our stay in Ryde. It is just across from the main bus transfer spot to get the Breezer and Coastal buses. It is clean and has an excellent cooked breakfast included with the rooms. I will stay there again when we return to Ryde."
