"Property perfectly sited in heart of Mastichari. Welcome at airport by Michael and son. No criticism whatsoever as they made us feel welcome. Problem is with the local authorities who for many years have allowed the area around the pier to smell strongly of raw sewage. I feel very sorry for owners such as Michael who, try their best but seem to be hampered by a local authority who do not care."

"Great stay at Angela Apartments and would recommend as very good value. Apartments are basic but clean with comfortable beds. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies. Bathroom has been modernised but other parts of the apartment could do with updating. Staff very friendly and drinks at bar are reasonably priced. Only a 10 minute walk to Kos town where there are plenty of bars and shops. There is luggage storage and a shower room you can use prior to coming home. Wi-Fi signal good too. ...

"Staff friendly and helpful. Good sized pool. Good location 5 to 10 minute walk to main bars, restaurants and harbour/old town. Close to beach 5 minutes walk. Good size rooms with two balconies one overlooking pool but no sea view. Cleaned everyday. Only negative was air con not working in lounge area bit hit and miss in bedroom was reported but as end of season not fixed whilst there but didn't detract from overall pleasant stay and would return."

"The private entrance to the property was the first indication we had chosen for something special for our stay on Kos. Our week at Ta Spitakia was so relaxing that we spent less time at the beach and just lazed around the villas outdoor seating area or on the private sun loungers. "Though it says that they will come and get you from the airport when I contacted the property they would only do this until 9pm. No good for my Easyjet flight arriving at 9:20pm. This left us in the taxi queue which took more than an hour to get a taxi. Apparently in high season it can take 2 hours! Taxis very expensive, 28 euros for 10 minute ride. There is not much in Marmari. The map looked like Anthia was set back a couple of blocks from the beach.in fact it is surrounded by scrub land....

"Please stay somewhere else!!!! We stayed as a party of 4 with 3 rooms. Our room didn’t have hot water in the morning and their response was that we needed to wait until 9 or so. "Very spacious clean 2 room apartment with huge bed! Attractively tiled bathroom. Lovely views across Kefalos bay. Just off the beach road so very quiet. Beautiful gardens. Hosts are very helpful. The shower was probably the most powerful I've experienced in Greece, though use at full power gives a rather wet bathroom floor. Kitchen facilities very good. Might be worth considering adding insect screens to windows."

"Great property 30mins from airport in taxi around 50euros. Easy check in. They show you to your room so you don’t get lost. Welcome refreshing drink and flannel . Air con in room plenty of towels and fridge Well stocked. Bars have great selection staff helpful and waiters always ask if you need a drink Shen you sit in bar or by pool. Buffet style restaurant has all you need for breakfast lunch and dinner. Book days in advance for the meat restaurant and the Italian restaurant which I preferred. Drinks and gyros & burgers on the beach which a quick 2 minute walk. Crepes and ice cream amazing too. Also on site next to gym and yoga Área and staff Amazing too. Definitely do a class or just a session. Food was really good staff really good even a tennis court, football Astro turf, and basketball court too which were all well kept."
