"The staff were lovely and made checking-in and out a breeze. We were able to store our luggage after checking-out so we could continue to explore the area baggage free. The only issue we had was the bidet in our room was not working properly, but everything else was great. The location was right across from the train station making travel very easy."

"Really loved this stay! I arrived early to drop off my luggage, the staff helped me to check in early (although rooms are only available at 3pm still) and even helped to move my luggage to my room by the time I came back. The staff will guide you step by step on the hotel facilities and to your room, you can even choose the type of pillow for you futon. The dinner is kaiseki type and the staff will bring each dish course by course, explaining to you how to eat each dish. I had mine at the dinning hall and was surprised by the male staff when he explained in English. The in room toilet has a very nice atmosphere and then there is a modern shower, although you will more likely to be using the Onsen for your showering and bathing. Speaking of the Onsen, the hotel has 2 separate layouts that will rotate genders per day, so if you want to experience both layouts you need to use it during the morning the next day. I didn't manage to get her name but the lady staff that helped me checked in and also check out was very hospitable, from the early check in to helping with the souvenir store and seeing me off after check out, making the entire experience very welcoming. Overall a really great experience! Just one thing to note, the road to the hotel has quite a bit of incline, just be prepared when returning back from visiting the main town area."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and got to sample almost all the onsens on offer. The rooms were well maintained and stocked with amenities. We appreciated the convenient and free shuttle service to go to dinner. Staff were friendly and spoke great english. The QR booking system for the onsens was easy to use."

"The Ryokon itself is a bit dated but the rooms were updated and so clean! We had a room with an outdoor bamboo tub and it was absolutely amazing. The staff made you feel relaxed the moment you walked through the doors."

"Only great things to say about this hotel . Rooms are sufficiently spacious and clean with good WiFi connection . The morning breakfast has very good spread and the view ( especially if the breakfast is set in the 14th floor ) is excellent with view of the Himeji castle. Here too there is free coffee until 22:00 hrs at the reception area . The staff are very friendly and polite. This hotel has many elevators and hence there is no wait time at all . The hotel itself has a direct connection to the mall and very close to Himeji station . I would recommend this hotel for all type of suitors including business travelers, solo travelers, couples and families ."
