"It's such a relaxing onsen resort. It's closed to bus and train. However, going up the hotel is a bit difficult if you have heat luggage. It's a uphill. The resort itself it's top notch. From the clean onsen to the delicious food. You feel reborn after a night of relaxation. I highly recommend this place. "

"It was quite at night, clean, and the staff were very nice. Only 2 down sides I saw were that there was no safe in the room I stayed in and that the shower randomly got hot."

The location was also excellent and easy to find, being close to the Gion corner and 10 minutes walk or so to the train station, shrines and shops. The staff were also very helpful and the free breakfast (of rolls and pastries) was perfect."
