We stayed for three nights and felt very refreshed after the stay, having experienced the delicious food offered and enjoyable activities (we did the early morning canoeing, aerial stretching and rented a bike to cycle around the lake). This hotel is not for people squirmish about bugs or those looking for extreme lux. This hotel is for people seeking lush greenery, great views, and taking time to detach and relax. "

The friendly staff, the amazing view (if you are lucky) and traditional Japanese room experience made this a memorable stay. I wish I was able to stay longer. Highly recommended."

"I booked this hotel because I've stayed in Dormy Inns before and because I wanted a hotel with an onsen. The room suited my needs, and the onsen was very enjoyable. The staff were professional and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a pleasant stay. An extra bonus was an excellent vegan restaurant, Fluunt Kofu, just a few doors down from the hotel. Highly recommended."

"We had a lovely experience staying in Sakuya hotel. The owners were very kind and helpful, offered us shuttle van to go to town. Offered us private onsen which was very relaxing. Rooms were futon bed with a view of Mt Fuji, breakfast was so yum. Would definitely come next time. "

The unit is small, but we just needed a place to sleep at night after our long days exploring, so the price was good for our needs.
