It is a wonderful place to stay. Me and my partner had just finished a week in Ho Chi Minh city and ChezCao was an amazing place to relax and unwind. The owner and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Simply the quietest most surreal location among the rice fields. The pool is fabulous and so are the grounds. So well maintained and just as easy grab ride to Trang An, old town and Tam COC. We used the free bikes to get to Mua Caves for the 500 steps to the top! We went at 0530 to avoid the crowds and heat and were back in time for a delicious breakfast. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. Would stay here again

One of the cutest properties I have ever stayed at!! The home stay is adorable and so boutique / gorgeous with high attention to detail. Dat and the team helped me book tours and transport, as well as served amazing food / drinks from the kitchen which was invaluable to our time in Ninh Bin! Best stay in Vietnam!

Secret Hideaway but close to things

Quiet little place amongst rice fields. So many plants at the hotel, makes you feel like you are in the jungle. Staff is super nice. Place is clean.

This place is a calm oasis in the middle of the rice fields. It is near enough to all tourist attractions to reach easily but far enough from them that you experience the real Vietnam. The rooms, views, setting and FOOD are excellent. But the staff are beyond excellent. So kind and helpful and attentive. Thank you Dat and Alita for all of your kindness

We absolutely loved our stay at ChezCao Rice Field Ecolodge! The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious, offering a great selection of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The view of the rice fields was simply magical. Unfortunately, the cloudy and cold weather meant we couldn’t use the pool, but that didn’t take away from the experience. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Ninh Binh!

Beautiful stay

Our stay was amazing, we wished we could’ve stayed longer. Right from our arrival everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The place is absolutely stunning. Although it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere (in a good way) you can easily get a grab or cycle to local places. We did the hang mua and cycled there, it only took a few minutes. The bikes were free to use too. Just bring insect repellent!

Dat and all staff were great. Very friendly and efficient. They cook various brkfst menu every morning with lots of fruit plates. The swimming pool is surrounded by beautiful flowers. The famous view point with Pagoda is 2 km away, and they rent bikes free. Just park them at the entrance of complex at any parking without locking them. Parking fee: 50,000 Vietnam money per bike. Te view point pagoda is about 500 steps above ground.

Such a beautiful situation and surrounding. Wonderful property/hotel : quiet, lovely architecture, intimate and Charming! Staff truly wonderful too. Breakfast offering okay, the pool is a bit warm as only negative and cocktail bar isn’t very good to. But that said we would recommend this place very highly!! Super calm surroundings yet a very quick car ride away from bustling city. Best of both worlds. We rented motorcycles directly from the eco lodge. Such a fantastic time we all had (family of 4 with daughters aged 23 & 21). Staff super lovely! Been there End of May and found bathroom very hot as only negative with the wonderful accomodation.

The most beautiful eco lodge with views of the rice terraces. We found it to be perfectly located for cycling to both Tam Coc and Trang An using the complimentary bicycles. We ate dinner in the hotel which was good.

There is a young man there named DAT. This guy is probably the best I have encountered in Vietnam. The hotel is on a rice field and gave me everything I dreamed of in Ninh Binh. If Dat were in the U.S, he would be capable of running any size hotel. GET ON A PLANE AND GO SEE HIM. Chez Cao NINH BINH
