"This house would be good enough with just the docks, boat ramp, and screened porch with a wide lake view, but it also happens to have a great layout for multiple family members to have some privacy, and it’s in a nice cove off of the main lake, and Break on the Lake. We are already booked for another family trip."

"The house was great; well-equipped and stocked with everything you might need to cook and play games. The steps between the house and the lake were well constructed but challenging for the older renter, but we are probably in better shape! The dock was perfect for our pontoon rental day, and safe for swimming. Enjoyed the swing on the dock (but it does hit the cable on the boat lift when you swing too high). All in all it was a nice stay and the family enjoyed it!"

"The motel is a bit dated, but it is clean, conveniently located, and the staff is very helpful. John, on the evening shift, has been so nice. I have stayed here before, and will stay here again, if I am in the area."

"For the practical folks: full size bars of soap, the good tp, good water pressure, water got both ice cold and hot quickly, incredible lake views, very short and easy walk to the lake, fairly private, and all the cooking utensils you could need! This place was wonderful! A true nod to a 50s lake house with the upgrades you want. The layout was great for our family. Open, but able to put our baby down for a nap on the other side of the house. There was a delightful breeze coming off the lake, and the picnic table was cool even in the heat of the day. We saw an amazing amount of wildlife: great blue herons, green herons, king fishers, geese (including 10 goslings!!), turtles, snails, dragonflies, butterflies, tons of fish, and a deer! Our family had a fantastic time and can’t wait till next time!"
