"The house is exactly as described in the listing. The city of Nîmes and the antiquities (e.g., Pont de Gard) in the surrounding region are very close by. There are wonderful beaches and the Camargue region are less than an hour’s drive away. Sophie and Hervé were wonderful hosts - very helpful and responsive."

"We stayed here for a week touring Provence and The Camargue, the villa is ideally situated within 30-60 minutes of many places like Avignon, Nîmes, Arles, Aigues Mortes and more. We were only two but the villa can accommodate a family. We met the cleaner and the gardener whilst their and neither spoke English so a phone app like Translate on the iPhone is recommended. The owners communicated in both English and French so no issues there. Tip: if you visit the are, try speaking a little French, it’s appreciated by the locals whom for the most part are very friendly. The villa has a nice pool but unfortunately we could not use as rainstorms before and during our stay had dumped a large amount of sand in the pool. With our excursions, we simply did not have time to run the pool’s robot cleaner as much as was needed. Note that no towels are provided by the owners. Tip: due to roadworks, your satnav may not take you to the villa from beaucaire, however if you go to the nearby hyper market, there is an exit at the rear of the carpark that takes you into the best road to reach the villa by car (note a car is a must-have). Overall a lovely villa but could be even better by replacing the linens in the master suite (which my wife had to wash as they did nit feel fresh enough to her - there was also no cover on the qult), providing towels and refreshing tea towels as they were frankly old and worn."
