"Good location for us to mountain bike from the house directly onto the forest trails in nature & isolation. Fabulous house to spend time also, Daniel & Valerie were excellent at ensuring privacy but also helpful if required.Lovely outdoor & pool areas & comfortable inside. Short cycle to the cafe/ Bar & Supermarket. Big thank you jim "

"There was a calm, genteel feel to the hotel and grounds, a sense of grandeur past. The staff were helpful and polite. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast in the gardens. It would have been good to have some help taking heavy bags up the stone stairs as there did not seem to be a lift/elevator."

"Super quaint village dating back centuries. Walked around the town ended up at Casa de Fuego for drinks in the evening. Met the owners of the property, lovely people! Would definitely recommend. Très génial!"
