The level above the hotel management needs to step up with some renovations Some updating is definitly needed in the rooms. The air conditioning system worked but it was old (the smell of it was musty) the smoke detectors were outdated and the furniture could have used a bit of change. "This is the best hotel in the Youngstown area for location and style. There was a wedding and a prom going on the night we were there, so we didn't get the room type we had reserved. We were told that reservations through Hotels.com (Expedia) are always overbooked and it's to be expected that the preferred room type isn't necessarily available.
