The area around the property was really beautiful. Several things to do, we went to the monkey show which was interesting and to Edo Wonderland, which was very cool. However, this hotel is very old and needs to be updated. The outdoor bath was nice.

部屋の掃除が行き届いておらず、ベッドの下にゴミが落ちていた。 部屋の露天風呂では、上の階からたまに滝のように水が降ってくる。 居心地が悪く、少し滞在しましたがチェックアウトしました。 写真を見て凄く楽しみにしていたんですが、とても残念でした。

冬は残念な部屋付き露天風呂

せっかくの露天風呂付の部屋でしたが、外があまりにも寒すぎて大浴場に入りました。 夏の鬼怒川だったら最高のロケーションで、露天風呂も堪能できたかも 部屋は快適でした

ここのホテルだけじゃない

あんまり口コミがよくなかったので不安でしたが、むしろいい旅になりました。 ここのホテルだけでなく、鬼怒川自体、虫がたくさんいるので、夜の露天風呂は虫との戦いでした。

The surrounding area is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rate included breakfast which was nice. However, this is an all-smoking room hotel - contrary to what it’s listed as. There was no noticeable odor in the room, but might not be the same for all. And they’re having trouble with the hot spring source so there’s no onsen water to the room balcony baths (my main reason for booking), and their regular hot spring will be sometimes closed. That was the most disappointing part.

外装とロビー、食事などやや満足できない部分はあったが、部屋はとても最高でした。 夕飯の予約をしないことをお勧めします。 　近くに高級洋食レストランガスト1000号店があるのでそちらでのお食事を強くお勧めします。 今どきのタブレットでの注文式となっており、メニューも見やすく、店員を呼ばずに注文できます。クーポン番号0062を押すとドリンクバーが99円で頼むことができ、とても種類が多く、世界一美味しい飲み物が揃っています。 私たちはハンバーグやチキンを頼みましたが、全て国産和牛が使われているようです(嘘) とても美味しくたべられました。鬼怒川温泉ならではの味が楽しみます。ぜひ次回も鬼怒川温泉高級洋食レストランガスト1000号店に赴きたいです。 サービス、外装内装、味全て満点でした。

部屋の露天風呂が広く、露天風呂からの景色も良かったです。 しかし、大浴場の露天風呂が使用不可(温泉の量が不安定だった為)で残念でした。 また、部屋が少し臭かったです。
