"Staff were excellent - helping us with luggage storage, and generally being friendly. Well-located, close to a bicycle / walking path, and sited about half way between the train station and downtown Meppel. Would happily stay here again!"

"We were welcomed by friendly staff in a beautiful medieval house. The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. Above all, the rooms are very warm, so the air conditioning is sorely missed. I recommend that Fletcher addresses both ‘shortcomings.’"
