"We had a good stay at the house. Friendly host, big house, small but good swimmingpool, beautiful nature, big garden, … negative points: the house was not good cleaned… the cooking equipment was not enough for 12 persons… Overall we had a good holiday"

"We had a lovely stay in this house. The house was decorated very stylish and warm and had all the things that we needed. The weather was hot outside, but the cottage inside was nice and cool thanks to the thick walls. The pool was lovely and the children had a lot of fun with the floating devices. The owner of the house emailed a lot of tips on things to do in the neighbourhood and we had a lot of fun exploring those. The house is located very well if you want to visit the wineries in the medoc...

"Feels like coming home when going to this house in Brives-sur-Charente. The heated pool, the fenced and well maintained garden, the terrace, the lounge, the rooms, the living room, the city of Saintes, Pons ... and most important of all .... the silence of nature. Always a great pleasure to be here and a must to come back at least 1x/year."

"Cela m'embête de donner un avis aussi défavorable car l'hôte est un homme sympathique mais je juge les lieux et non la personne. La maison et le terrain sont très grand, et c'est certain que cela demande beaucoup de temps et d'énergie pour effectuer un entretien correct. Peut être est il temps de faire appel à une entreprise pour faire ce travail. Cela permettrait de profiter du jardin et de la piscine comme il ce doit pour ce qui est de l'extérieur et de la cuisine et des chambres pour...

"Chateau Pierre de Montignacer is a lovely place, highly recommended! Marie and Romain are lovely and friendly people who put the well-being of their guests first - great level of service. Everywhere is clean and tidy. Beautiful surroundings, healthy and delicious breakfast, - and not least wonderful wines. Wine tasting tour is a good experience. A place you want to return to."

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

Best Western Premier Hotel des Vignes et des Anges

"The hotel was generally very good in terms of bedroom and wellness centre. However, having specifically chosen this hotel due to its dining option and facility, at check in we were told the dining room was closed to hotel guests as they were catering for a large event. In our opinion, this is unacceptable and in such a circumstance, provision should be maintained for hotel guests especially as this provision forms part of the 4 star rating and nightly price."
