"Good, affordable spot for a quick stay. Front foyer smelt quite smokey but was fine in our non smoking room. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff at front desk and at breakfast were very kind and accommodating. "

"This was a quick stay in the area to visit Babcock State Park, so needed nothing fancy. The room did have a stale smell when we walked in, not smoke but just not good smell. The carpet appeared to be dirty in some areas like not vacuumed but overall room was clean. The hotel was in a good area with other businesses around and convenient to the highway. The breakfast was decent enough and pretty standard for a free breakfast. Parking is on site and free. "

"Great weekend in this peaceful paradise. This is the perfect spot if you just want to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet. Residence had everything I needed and the hot tub and fire pit make it a perfect retreat. If you want to get out and about; New River Gorge and Summersville are both close by. I will definitely be back!"

"The cabin was very clean and very well stocked with linens/towels/kitchen items/etc. I would not say this is a "pet-friendly" rental if you have a small breed dog. There is no grassy area. The property was covered in stones, leaves, and fallen branches making it difficult for a smaller dog to get around. The main bed is very tall -- this may be an issue for people with mobility problems. The fireplace is good for ambience, but did not provide much in the way of heat -- and is located behind the dining table."
