Lovely little hotel close to the beach

A neat and character filled hotel near the Nice Promenade de Anglais. Very clean and a great breakfast was included that fueled us fo the day ahead. The staff were very helpful and the room and bathroom was modern and very functional

We were two friends who traveled together and had a wonderful stay at Locarno. The staff were very nice and helped us with whatever we needed. The breakfast was good and the room was nice. Only a 2-minute walk to the beach, and 3-minute walk to the tram. Would stay here again!

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was close to the promenade. The hotel itself was decent, the terrace was great BUT the Wi-Fi at this place is absolutely atrocious. It barely works. Kicks you off frequently and was not usable. In 2025, this should not be the case anywhere. So if you want to stay and have no use for Wi-Fi, then it's a great place to stay at. For me, no functioning Wi-Fi is a deal breaker.

We’ve just had a fabulous 4 day stay at hotel Locarno .. the staff were fantastic .. helpful and friendly .. nothing too much trouble . Breakfast a bargain at 10 euros a person and the free beach towels and umbrellas a real bonus .. great location too with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Thank you for a lovely stay !

Friendly staff. Great location: nearby the beatch and tram 2 station (great connection from/to airport). Room was nice and tiny. Breakfast was ok. Only negative thing was the shower cubicle. It didn't look clean.

Happy with hotel

Arrived early so kept luggage until check in time of 3pm. Room not big and woukd have preferred walk in shower but told would have to request in advance. Good breakfast and location excellent for tram from airport and town. 5 min walk to prom.

Property was disappointing, since the ratings seemed so much better. Staff was helpful but facilities were very average. The room was a little run down and small. The bed was very conformable and liked that the windows faced a courtyard. Also, unlimited coffee and water in lobby were nice perks.

Hotel Locarno is a perfect spot to enjoy Nice. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is so great. You are less than two blocks from the Promenade and the ocean. The rooms are clean with beautiful balconies. The staff is so pleasant and highly fluent in English. The breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of delicious pastries, meats, coffees, fresh squeezed juices as well as hot items like eggs and pancakes. Parking is tricky so plan ahead. There is a parking deck about 6 blocks away -- Park Palmieri -- that is a good option.

Nice hotel, exceeded expectations

The location of the hotel is very good. Close to the beach and to the tram to the airport. 20 min walk to the train station. The staff is very friendly. The room is clean, but a bit noisy. The walls are thin and we could here our neighbors sneeze. As an improvement, a mosquito net would be good :) The lobby area is very nice decorated. Breakfast good and can be eaten on the terrace on 1st floor. We really appreciated that we could take beach umbrellas for free every day we went to the beach. And there is also a shower on the ground floor, very clean and just what you need on your last day of vacation, after checking out and spending your day at the beach :)
