Just way too much noise, between the washing machines spinning until 11pm, and the poor noise cancellation between rooms. Still the place is ideally located, close to the beach and the small local shops.

We were happy with the old fashioned charm and location, until we tried to sleep. Our room window was next to the hotel entrance. A bright light turned on every time someone returned at night. It illuminated our room and woke us up throughout the night. There was no privacy or darkening curtain.

Familjärt och trevligt hotell i traditionell fransk stil som förestås av en äldre dam. Läget är alldeles utmärkt bredvid Negresco och mycket nära både Promenade des Anglais och Rue de France. Inte heller långt till spårvagnens linje 2 (station Alsace-Lorraine) mellan flygplatsen och hamnen (Port Lympia).

Nice place in great location but hard to find the entrance and very old-fashioned, sometimes there was no staff around, but maybe we just couldn’t see them, it’s like visiting your great aunt. Good air-conditioning, everything was fine, one shared fridge in the common area.

Hervorragende Lage, saubere Unterkunft, kostenlose Teegetränke, eigener Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank in Küche, die immer sauber war, Rezeptionsbereich und Küche gemütlich wie bei den Großeltern eingerichtet. Das Beste waren die kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Badeutensilien wie zum Beispiel eine dicke Stoffmatte (Steinstrand kann zum Liegen sonst ganz unangenehm sein) Sonnenschirm und viele Badehandtücher.

Et hotell fullstendig som vi drømte om og lette etter! Gammeldags fransk med personlighet og atmosfære. Så mange av de gamle hotellene er moderniserte på samme måte. Dette har beholdt sin sjel!! Hotelvertinnen er perfekt også. Alt er så omsorgsfullt tatt vare på- gode senger og rent og pent. Nydelig beliggenhet, både iforhold til by og strand. Anbefales på det varmeste.
