The home had several maintenance issues that impacted our stay. Multiple outlets didn’t work, including in the bedrooms, which made it inconvenient to charge devices or use basic electronics. There were visible holes and damaged drywall in several areas, and some of the furniture felt worn, unstable, or in need of repair. The downstairs sink drained extremely slowly, often taking several minutes to clear, which made it frustrating to use for even simple tasks.We also noticed a strong musty odor downstairs that was present throughout our stay, suggesting a possible moisture or ventilation issue. It was persistent and affected overall comfort, especially in the lower level living spaces. In addition, some areas of the home did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival, which contributed to the impression that the property was not being consistently maintained.While our immediate street seemed fine, the surrounding area did not feel as welcoming or comfortable as expected, particularly in the evenings. This made us less inclined to spend time outside or explore nearby on foot.Overall, while the location itself was convenient, the maintenance concerns, cleanliness issues, and surrounding environment made the stay less enjoyable than we had hoped. We hope these issues can be addressed, as the property has potential but would benefit greatly from more consistent upkeep and attention to detail.
