"The place felt very safe and in a nice setting with plenty of green outside space. Rooms were very clean and spacious with nice private front terraces. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the onwer, Agnes, who arranged sightseeing trips in the area, airport transfer (15 mins) and other transport for us. "Waking up from a quiet night's sleep on a comfortable mattress with spotless sheets and walking out to sit on Claire's veranda to bird watch each morning was the highlight of my day. A hamerkop, bulbuls and mousebirds (among 10+ other types) came to visit while storks, pied kingfishers and even African greys flew by. A monkey on a neighboring roof was seen too. All this nature, yet five minutes walk to the lakeshore lined with restaurants and less than 15 minutes walk to the Carrefour. "
