"Just a big NO. We stayed one night, 3 hours to be precise and it was really bad. We didn't get the room we booked. The one boy working there didn't even know we're coming. Bathroom with no paper and no sink. The room was really cold as well. Bugs and insects all over the hostel, so disgusting. I would NOT recommend this hostel. I wish we would have stayed at a home stay instead."

"The room is a concrete cube with a bed in it and about a foot and a half of space on two sides. The bathroom is a shared squat toilet. I never found the shower, if they had one. The host, when I arrived, dropped me in my room without pointing it out, and when I came downstairs to ask everyone was gone and the property was locked. The air tasted like cigarettes and coal smoke from a small brazier the family was using in the living room when I arrived. Weirdly though, this is a great place if...

"We were checked in right away. The room had a bed, two blankets and a bathroom without a sink. The water was cold. We asked for another blanket because it was so cold and staff wouldn’t provide even though there was no one else in the other rooms. Close to the Bromo entrance gate. I would only stay here for one night."
