"Loved this property! Check in is unique but there are very clear instructions and free parking just down the street. The restaurant is great and we sat out by the water outside. Great smoked salmon and egg breakfast. Also ate at the Old Boathouse down by the water which was great! Fort Augustus is a cute little town with little shops and restaurants. Saw the locks in action the morning that we left as well which was very cool to witness! Would stay here again for sure. "

"This lodge is such a gem and it deserves all the praise. The woman who runs it is absolutely lovely — so kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. We ended up chatting with her a lot, and she always made time for us, which we really appreciated (especially since we probably talked her ear off, sorry!). "Fantastic B&B with the option of having an evening meal. Beautiful location with views overlooking Loch Ness. Friendly hosts who provide a warm welcome. Our room was very clean, a good size and tastefully decorated to a high standard. Bed was very comfortable. Evening meal was delicious, good quality food. Would recommend to friends and family. "
