Good but not great
"Nice hotel in a great location. Room wasn't ready at check in (we arrived after the 2pm check in time) and made to wait nearly half an hour before it was ready, not very good service or communication at check in. Excellent breakfast, lovely helpful restaurant staff. Nice pool and sauna."

We only used the town Leisure Centre, parking was free & plenty of spaces were available. The way in was clean with pleasant floral displays & road signage adequate. Only a short distance from the A1 & main routes to Durham Darlington or the North.
