"A brilliant place to stay in Bovey Tracey. A really warm welcome and the rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, cereal, pastries, toast. The cooked breakfast was an excellent. Easy to park in the pub car park which in Bovey is a real plus. Set in the heart of the village this pub surely punches above its weight. Evening meal was the same high quality, be sure to book as it gets really busy."

Mill End Hotel

"We travelled as a couple with our dog. From arrival all staff were very friendly and welcoming and explained local walks (with a map) that we could do with our dog. The room was exceptionally well kept and clean with lovely finishes. We had a balcony looking out over lush gardens and we could hear the river flowing which was beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast both exceptionally and good value. The lounge area was lovely and great place to chill. For an old mill it looks so well kept and maintained. Would absolutely go back and if you are looking for a relaxed charming break this is it. Thank you to all the wonderful staff including the cheery chef you waved out the window at us as we walked our dog! Just perfect stay."

"There is a lot that is exceptionally good about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful , the food and drinks of high standard and the spa area very good. The only slight downsides were poor WiFi although this seems to affect the whole village when we visited. We’d love to come back."

"The room was very comfortable with a nice shower, coffee machine and fresh milk. The staff were very friendly and helped with recommendations for local walks. Dinner at the pub was excellent. The location is great - in the centre of the village with country walks on your doorstep and even a heated lido nearby for a morning swim."
