"The hotel was clean and the staff was cordial. The breakfast was great. The only negative for me was that the shower enclosure was very small and the shower head would not adjust. I would stay there again."

"Place is small, no frill just basic hotel. However, the room was clean, bedding was nice, decor is ok. Everything worked. Hot water was really hot! Which is great. It looks like they are trying to upgrade things. Would stay again just not for more than 2 nights. No pool."

I won't be returning. I can stay in a much safer, less sketchy place for the same price I paid at the Quality Inn and have a much nicer room that is truly a non smoking room that doesn't affect my allergies!

We were just traveling through on our way further south. Newport was a good stopping point to do some hiking the next day in the smokies near I-40.
