Excellent stay on at Newport

This house was spotless, comfortable, and with perfect views. Our hosts were very helpful and very easy to communicate with. The area is one of great natural beauty and especially Quiey! Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic and peaceful stay

We had a magnificent week in Vermont. The house is as advertised, clean, nothing is missing, the location by the lake is perfect and the owners are super friendly/helpful. The price is reasonable as well. We recommend it and would definitely come back.

Over too soon!

Everything connected with our stay went smoothly. The property was lovely, the location was beautiful, and the accommodations lacked nothing. We'd recommend this rental to anyone.

Absolutely charming lake home

We had a lovely stay in the lake house. The owners attention to detail was evident in the amenities, cleanliness and provisions inside and outside. Lake view was amazing. Location was quiet and peaceful. Owners were available and responsive to questions. Would definitely book this lake house again!

Peaceful

We just spent a week at this peaceful lake house We had a great week checking out this charming little town and surrounding. The kids loved the tram ride up Jay Peak, fishing and swimming in the lake. If you plan on swimming in the lake outside the cabin bring water shoes. The lake house was super clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you may need to cook. Great week!

Amazing stay at the lake house

The lake house is in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the lake. It is only 5 minutes away from the Newport city centre hence you are not far away from the restaurants and bike and kayak rentals. The lake house is small but well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. Overall, a great stay.

Lake vacation

This property is very nicely located on the lake front of Lake Memphamegog in Newport VT. The views are amazing and the location feels isolated and is quite, but is close enough to town to make quick trips. The owners of the property are next door and made us feel very welcome and were there to any any questions we may have had. I highly recommend renting this property.

Terrific location on the lake with great views and a wonderful deck from which to enjoy them. The interior and furnishings are a bit dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and the owner - who lives next door - was very gracious. Good wifi. Central heating with a portable A/C unit in the living room if you need it (we didn’t).

Lakeview Vista

A very comfortable three bedroom house. Patio with barbecue grill was well used. Bedrooms were a nice size as was the living room. Kitchen had everything for cooking each night. Again, a very comfortable house.

Sweet Place to Stay

This property was super clean and the lake view was unbeatable. I went with a friend for a few days to get some R and R and we got just that. The beds were comfortable and the everything was as described. Dennis was super easy to communicate with. Newport surprised us with more restaurants than we thought. You have to visit the Brown Cow for breakfast. All in all things were great!

Great vacation on the lake!

We had a great stay at this Newport l, VT rental. The house is nice and well located right on the water. Plenty of room for our family if 4. The hosts were really helpful. Newport was both a great destination (lake activities, several public parks, awesome bike path, several good restaurants) and a terrific base camp (mountain biking, hiking, etc.). Highley recommend! I hope we’ll be back!

Amazing Place!!

Stayed in the lake house for a long weekend getaway with friends…what a wonderful experience!! Dennis and Annette were the ultimate hosts…fully available when needed, yet completely respectful of our privacy and space. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Then there is the lake…I’m in love…clean, peaceful, quiet - perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, or just floating around! We would have stayed forever if we could have!!

Fantastic family vacation

A family of four experienced an awesome getaway in a cozy lakeside property. The property had everything we needed and a few items we didn't realize that we would use. We enjoyed cooking inside and out, and our girls loved running around the property and swimming in the lake regardless of the weather. It was a great base to explore other areas of Vermont on rainy days. It had great small-town charm, and we had plenty to do, eat, and drink nearby. The owners were awesome and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely recommend this to close friends and will look to come back in the near future.

Lake Memphremagog Getaway

Very clean, hosts live next door, share a dock with them. Very friendly. We went right after the flood of 2023, so water was murky. I love to swim, but was afraid the water might be contaminated? Great Wi-Fi, TV, space, very quiet spot. Drove one night over to the East Side Restaurant and had an awesome dinner, with wonderful drinks. On and off raining during the week, but okay….we needed the rest. We would rent again from them….

The perfect get-away!

Dennis and Annette were the perfect hosts. The house was clean and stocked with every little thing we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and were even all made up with fresh clean sheets, cozy blankets and comforters when we arrived. The views from the dining room, back yard, and deck were all breathtaking. We watched the moon-rise over the lake, from the deck each night. We docked our boat at the marina just across the bay, because the water was too low to leave at the dock on the property., but this was very convenient, inexpensive, and not a problem at all. It was the perfect Labor Day Weekend “get-away”! We will definitely come back!
