Welcome to our charming 1940's cottage located in Newport’s historic Point District! This delightful home is perfect for both families and their furry friends. Pets stay free, with no additional pet fees, and all breeds and weights are welcome. Woof-:)

Above it, you'll find a 42-inch flat-screen TV, perfect for cozy movie nights. bedroom is equipped with its own TV and built-in DVD player, ensuring everyone has their own entertainment space. The large, fenced-in backyard is ideal for both family gatherings and pets to play. Enjoy a night out on the town while leaving your pets in a comfortable home away from home.. We had a great time in Newport and the area. Kathy’s house is within walking distance of downtown, restaurants and parks. Definitely a 5 star rating for convenience, furnishings and location.

Quaint cottage just a short walk to downtown Newport, but far enough away to be able to enjoy some peace and quiet. Fenced yard is a huge plus for those traveling with dogs.

Our host was incredible. They were very informative and responsive. Their home was clean, and welcoming. My now husband and I stayed at this property in Aug of 2024 while celebrating our wedding and it was the perfect place to decompress before and after our wedding day. We are planning on coming back to this property every year to celebrate our anniversary and brining our dog! Please stay here!

Geeat yard for pets. Location was great close to the action on a quaint street close to the water. Placement of Toilet was funky. Dirt build up in corners of rooms and especially around tub. One of the mattresses was very old you would sink to the middle could not access tv or internet

This is an awesome cottage in the charming historic district! The location was great! Walking distance to downtown and all the beautiful spots along the way! Our host was very attentive & responsive. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus for our fur babies! We will definitely go back!!

We love this cottage with its large fenced in backyard . We travel with dogs and the yard is just fantastic. This is our 3rd time staying here and we look forward to many more visits. Very comfortable and walking distance to downtown Newport. Owner is very responsive and hands on.

Location was outstanding—walkability to downtown was excellent. Could also walk to a small park that’s on the water, however, you can’t walk down near the water but beautiful scenery to enjoy! For improvements: Maybe newer/more comfortable couch and the ability to open windows. A little disappointing that I couldn’t open the windows for fresh air….sone people may not care but….overall house had great character and was very quaint!❤️

Was a lovely weekend with our 70 pound pup, and 2 year old son. The location is amazing, 10 minute walk to downtown meant the street was nice and quiet for sleeping kiddos, and easy to walk into the bustle of town. Kathy was helpful and gave some good pointers on things to do! Would recommend!

The location is great and the backyard for our pup was a bonus… some stuff should have been addressed before we arrived… family member may sleep in the garage, which is attached to the house through a breezeway which you walk through to go in the back yard. Showed up around 10:15 pm and started all of us, when initially we were told the night before someone (husband) may stop in around 1:00 pm to park in the driveway ( maybe getting something in the garage) we thought that was odd…it is an older cottage with nice charm could use a little upkeep on some stuff… its a rental. Overall the spot is great and slept comfortably and in a great neighbourhood!

Old house, but everything was very clean. I chose this property because it had a fenced in yard for my dog. My one complaint is not being able to use the breezeway door. That would be much more convenient than having to go around to the front.

Perfect spot for 3 people and dogs. The little house is exactly as portrayed in the listing. So amazing to have a fully fenced back yard for the pups plus the extra protection out the front door with a fence in front too. The side door into the breezeway sticks in the winter so couldn't be used. That would have been handy. Kitchen was well equipped but note that there is not a full freezer when planning your shopping. Beds were soft for my taste but not terrible. Couldn't really imagine a better spot if you have dogs and want to visit Newport.

We had an amazing long weekend. Many walks around the neighborhood, walking distance to the pier and 2 parks on the water. We walked to the lighthouse on goat island. Walked to Breakfast at Belle’s Cafe in the shipyard. Easy bike ride to everything. The Tennis Hall of Fame worth a walk through the courtyard to check out. The Cliff Walk is a must! Weekends you can park on Shepherd road. We had endless activities all weekend. The back side of the bar at the Landing was the best spot to bring you dog for lunch. 2 blocks down from the cottage was pickle ball, field and tennis court. Our pup loved hanging on the front step because the front was also fenced in. Our dog had a blast this weekend too! Can’t wait to go back. The cottage was perfect for us with a beach decor that made it feel like home to us Cape Codders.

This property is in a great location. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. The owner was very responsive. Unfortunately we had to check out after one night. The property is filthy. The house smells musty and full of pet urine odor. There many ants in the kitchen despite ant traps. We reached out to the owner who was very responsive and we did get some of our money back except one nights stay and the cleaning fee.? We were able to check in to a bed and breakfast that was immaculate for less money. I don’t usually leave negative reviews but feel compelled to warn others to look elsewhere.
