"Quaint New England charm with beautifully maintained grounds. We enjoyed both the spa and the Red Rooster restaurant which were both wonderful. There was a wedding onsite one night while we were there and while beautiful, made it difficult to enjoy the outside fire and smores that evening as it was very loud. It was remarkable that you could not however hear the noise from inside the Inn. Overall I would highly recommend the Woodstock Inn resort & spa to couples, families and friend trips."

"Such a great stay! 8 nights, quiet lake, even on the 4th! Tight knit lake community, great neighbors. Hosts were easy to communicate with if anything popped up. If you are looking for an unplugged weekend or week, this is your place. Close to outdoor destinations, took the chairlift up mount Sunapee, went to river gorge and many nice hikes close by!"

"The property was absolutely beautiful. The hike down to the river is steep but definitely passable as long as you're of average agility. The driveway is also steep and I would recommend an AWD/4WD SUV but we had no issues. The host was responsive and the listing is as described and spotless and nicely appointed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway into nature."
