Lilleshall Abbey was founded in about 1148 for a community of Augustinian canons. By the late 13th century, it had become a religious house of great reputation and prestige. In the 14th century, however, a financial crisis contributed to a gradual dwindling of the community.

"For the money it’s great could have done with a blind as if you open the curtains everybody can see in so we didn’t the whole time which made it quite depressing but like I say that is it apart from that it was great thank you "

"This was a private house the room was comfortable the bed was comfortable the people booking in were really nice. This was a reasonable very functional stay and I would recommend it to anyone who just needs a bed no fuss then this is very excellent.
