"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

"We had a great time in Kinvarra! Proximity to the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Mohr, etc. was great and we enjoyed the local pubs and music. The accommodations were great, clean and well stocked. We were a little put off by the amount of traffic and related noise, at times it was hard to even cross the street and the bedrooms that faced the road were noisy. Toni was very responsive and gave us lots of information on things to do and see. Overall we enjoyed the town and had a great time."

"Property was nice, comfortable and clean. Location is great with a short walk to many of Bunratty's attractions. The gas fireplace was a nice addition. The property manager was responsive and helpful. My only issue and it's small is I don't think the people renting a property should be expected to strip beds. I would stay again!"

"The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. "James was the consummate host. While the unit could be called country cottage simple, the welcome was all one might expect in the form of warm Irish hospitality. Situated on the outskirts of Mountshannon, you do need transport, but with car in hand you will be able to visit the highlights of the region. just bare in mind local 'R' roads can be narrow with high hedges, and meeting commercial traffic might test your nerves.
