This was the perfect getaway location for our family. We wanted something comfortable and away from light pollution so that we could do some stargazing and astrophotography. The cabin was close enough for us to see the sights in the area, though we opted to stay in for the majority of our trip.

We enjoyed our time here. It was a short escape from everyday life. We visited Hill City, Deadwood & Custer so it was central to those locations. Even though the highway is nearby, it was still very quiet and relaxing.

Our family of four & two dogs stayed at this cabin for 10 days; it was so relaxing and comfortable! It is situated just right outside the western edge of the Black Hills...gorgeous landscape all around. It is close to many attractions if you want to venture out, as well. The property manager, Jenny, was just as sweet as could be...just a gem. The home was well kept and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. If returning to this area, we will stay at this cabin again!

The cabin was exactly as described and worked very well for our group. It was close to the trails and the rest of the sites of the Black Hills bit far enough away to be so very peaceful.

Great cabin on the Wyoming/South Dakota border far enough away from the tourist hustle and bustle to get some piece and quiet yet still easily visit all of the attractions in the Black Hills. Great furnished cabin and great and easy to work with owner. My group would choose this property again.

This house was the perfect location for exploring a variety of destinations. We went to Devils Tower, Black Hills, Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park (the cave was closed, though, for elevator repairs and has been closed since August 2).
The house was very private, which we like, and a very nice property. So quiet day and night and the stars were great.

This property was perfect for our family visit. A bedroom and some living space allowed for all to have privacy when needed. Benny, my son's golden retriver had the best time ever exploring and finding lots of sticks. Thank you.

Six of stayed at the cabin and we all gave the cabin two thumbs up. After full days of riding SxS's it was nice to get back to the cabin and visit on the spacious deck and have a few drinks. The cabin was very clean and had a very welcoming feel to it. If we are ever in the area again we will not hesitate to reserve the cabin again. Jenny, it was fun visiting with you before our departure.

Just perfect!! 3 floors, bedrooms on each floor. Beautiful porches to sit and relax. Check in was a breeze, Jennifer was the perfect host! It’s close to sightseeing in SD — Deadwood, Sturgis, Spearfish Falls and Mount Rushmore. Great food in Newcastle, WY ~ Isabella’s, Pizza Barn, and Donna’s Main Street Diner.
We plan on returning !!

The house has everything you can think of. It's the only one we've ever stayed at where you don't need to bring anything. Very comfortable, good location, beautiful countryside. A little hard to find, look for an A-frame with a green roof set back from the road with a red roofed tiny house in front.

Jenny raises the standard of hospitality! The cabin is wonderful and is in a beautiful location. Every need has been anticipated and the attention to detail is amazing. Could not have been more comfortable or enjoyed our stay more than we did. If you want to experience a stress free vacation near all the hotspots (such as Mt Rushmore, Bear Country, Crazy Horse, Devil’s Tower, Jewel Cave, etc) you should reserve time at Jenny’s cabin. Three floors with a bedroom on each level and a bathroom on 2 levels created the perfect sleeping arrangements for our group.

This home was perfect from A to Z! It was beautifully furnished and decorated, plenty of space for 2-3 couples, a welcoming wrap-around porch, and all the comforts of home and then some! The natural surroundings provided true R&R and the paved driveway and garage were a huge plus with our motorcycles. Close enough to all the major attractions in the area but far enough for peace & quiet. And last but certainly not least, Jenny was a most gracious host and very accommodating - we left feeling like we made a new friend!

This was our first trip to WY and it was the perfect location for what we were wanting. We could sit on the porch and watch wildlife (turkeys and deer) and we were near the national forest, Devils Tower & Custer State Park which were places we wanted to go. Jenny was quick to respond and had everything ready early for us. There is room to have several people staying. Plenty of extra blankets were available, lots of towels/wash clothes and even some toiletries were available. We are looking forward to coming back again!

The home was situated in a beautiful setting with lots of space to explore. Our kids really enjoyed the trampoline! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying the nice weather and the storms that passed. The house itself was a bit cluttered and the couches were dirty and the cabinets we too full to utilize, so we had to get creative with grocery storage and space to hang out indoors. The host was wonderful and super accommodating! Overall a great place to stay and explore the Black Hills.

We had the best time at your home. We are VRBO owners and your place had everything and then some. We owe you some Krusteez and syrup. :-)
The location is perfect for trips to Devil's Tower, Sturgis, Deadwood, Spearfish, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and of course, Needles Highway.
Truly appreciate the hospitality.
Cheers,
Philip
