At Lakemac water sports offers kayaking, BBQ & fishing boat hire & giant aqua mats for the kids. Murray’s Cafe is an outdoor & dog-friendly cafe surrounded by the bushland on the edge of Lake Macquarie. The jetty over the lake is great for fishing, the paths along the waterfront are ideal for a casual stroll or a place to bring the kids on their bikes & scooters. Bring a picnic blanket, order from the takeaway menu & sit on the waterfront to take-in the array of sparkling sunsets.
