"Would like to give a shout out to staff Brett. This young man was only 3 weeks into his job and he went above and beyond. Brett was welcoming upon arrival, informative about our stay, and efficient with our checkin. He offered to help bring our baggage to the rooms. Brett also offered suggestions for things to do in the area. Not to mention, the hotel was BUSY, there was 28 check ins! Upon returning to the hotel for our second night he greeted us with a smile and by name, spoke to our children about their dance competition, congratulating them on their performances. This made our children feel special and they were so proud to talk about their day. Brett listened attentively to each of them as they excitedly shared all the details. Huge “THANK YOU” to Brett for the amazing customer service and making our stay that much better ☺️ "

"We gambled on NB to view an April eclipse and were not disappointed. Elizabeth and Mike were terrific hosts - they greeted us when we arrived and were responsive when we had questions. The location on the Miramichi river is stunning, even through an April blizzard, and walking the river edge at low tide was a treat. The entryway to the upper suite is small and could use some coat hooks and boot rack but a few small usability issues did not deter from a great week. We would definitely return (but maybe not in early April!)."
