Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s"

"Butterfly cottage is perfect for 2 people, we even took our pooch and had some lovely walks around the area. Stanhope is 10 mins away and Barnard Castle 30 mins.. great for runs out. Some nice local shops and cafes. Would deffo return."

"We stayed at Crackin View for a long weekend just before Christmas for our annual family Christmas holiday. Ages ranging from 5 - 65 with quite a few teenagers. The house was perfect for what we needed. Plently of room and commual areas for our large family, the living room was a great layout for playing family games. Large openplan kitchen dinner was brilliant, plently of bedrooms and the pool/sauna was fab! The house was spotless and its so much nicer than the photos. Communication with the...
