"I was more impressed by this place than I thought I would be when I first walked in. There didn't, at first glance, seem to be anything special about it, but I changed my mind quickly. The breakfast was top tier, the beds were very comfortable, I could have stood in the shower all day, the staff was great, the location was easily walkable, I have only good things to say about the property. Highly recommend if you are in Edinburgh."

"Friendly helpful staff, kinda remote and didn’t have a shuttle service for the airport or train station but food was good which is nice because it takes a little while to get into the city from the hotel via Uber or Bus."

"The room was clean and the food and staff were great. The only complaint was the bathroom. For an executive room, the bathroom was small and cramped, the sink didn’t drain well and the door looked like it just had the bottom sawn off it! The bed was fine, it was hard but I don’t mind a firm bed, the pillows were hard and uncomfortable so woke up with a sore neck! Great location for the Zoo and other local amenities."
