The River House was the perfect family get away. Very comfortable and relaxing. Lots of fun.
Came up to relax and fish. Weather didn’t always cooperate for the boat, but great fishing at night from the porch. Hosts were responsive to any concerns or needs.
Love it here, been coming here two/three times a year for the past three years when visiting my father. Owner Rhonda and her husband are great. Perfect place for summer fun or fall colors.
You won’t regret it. Great place right on the water. Rick and Rhonda were amazing hosts. Will definitely book again!

This was the most amazing peaceful place! I loved the shuffleboard, trampoline for the kids, and tetherball. It was a lot of fun for my children and grandchildren.
We came to the area to view the fall foliage. The property has an exceptional view of the river and hillside on the opposite side. It couldn’t have been any closer to the river. The property is a bit dated, but was great for what we needed.
Been staying here for 3 years now when visiting my father, we LOVE it here! This year booked it for two visit back in January just to make sure it was available. Owner's make you feel like family.
This place is absolutely fabulous!!!! We wanted a little getaway on the water and it was just that. The place was just as they described it and very clean. It is quiet there which was a bonus. We had great communication with the owners they are wonderful. The weather was perfect.....not too hot or cold. We will definitely stay here again.
The place was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Spacious and was the perfect fit for us. It was all so inviting. And the views…just wonderful sitting out on the patio just a few feet from the water. Very quiet even when the boats went by.

We had a great experience! The property owner was very helpful and friendly. There were some minor defects on the property but overall it was very pleasant, quiet area and we very much enjoyed our two night stay.
This was our second summer staying there and we are planning on coming back. I enjoyed getting up first and sitting outside drinking coffee, reading a book, and waving to people going by on boats trying to catch fish. We brought our kayaks that we used on the river by the house and also on the other side of the dam. The weather cooperated and we had an amazing time! Rhonda, the host, was very responsive and helpful. Can't wait to go back next year!
Perfect little getaway. So quiet and relaxing. My husband loved fishing off the porch. The owners are very nice and hospitable and took us on a pontoon ride.
Sitting out on the porch watching the river flow by and the boats go by was a great de-stresser.
Just wished I could have stayed longer.
Thanks so much !!!
We had a great 4 days at the home. If you are looking for a waterfront property, you ain't getting any closer then this one. Property was very clean and felt homey. Would visit again! Next time with the boat.
Thanks Rhonda!
