"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is an older property, but it is still very nice. The room was clean and cozy. This hotel is only 2 stories and was not terribly busy. Breakfast was traditional hotel food. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a nice area and I was not worried about my vehicle or belongings. There are many restaurants within a few minutes walk or drive. I would stay here again with no hesitation."

"We had a 5night reservation at the Holiday Inn Alliance in Fort Worth and unfortunately experienced one of the worst hotel stays we've ever had. After a 15-hour drive, we arrived exhausted at 2:00 AM and were assigned a room on the 4th fl. Upon entering, we were immediately met with a strong marijuana odor. We had to return to the front desk with all of our belongings and request another room. The replacement room, located directly across from the elevator, was dirty and poorly maintained. Furniture surfaces were sticky, food stains were visible, and the overall condition was unacceptable. By the time we settled in, it was nearly 3AM. At 5AM, constant elevator traffic, slamming doors, loud footsteps, and hallway conversations made it impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, the shower dispensers were empty. When I called the front desk, only shampoo was provided, and I was told the hotel had no body wash available. I spoke with the manager, Jay who agreed to cancel the remainder of our reservation at no cost and assured me we would not be charged for that first night. When I requested written confirmation, he claimed none was available because the reservation had been canceled. 5-9 days later, I discovered my CC had been charged the full amt. Despite multiple calls + messages, Jay never returned my calls or addressed the issue. I ultimately had to dispute the charges with my CC company.Between dirty rooms, lack of basic amenitiesexcessive noise, and mngmt fail to honor the"

Hotel SOMA

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel Soma was perfect for our one night stay in Ft. Worth in June. The instructions were sent to us before our check in time & we had no problem getting inside. Once inside, we were welcomed with the cold air from a great A/C and relaxing music on the tvs. The kitchenette had everything you could need, even for a longer stay...plates/silverware/glasses. With a full size refrigerator/freezer we were able to chill some wine & reheat some food in the morning. They have a Nespresso machine & even supplied the pods so we had a great cup of coffee in the morning. There was a storm that came through overnight & our casita felt very sturdy & safe. It was a great use of space & there was plenty of room for the 2 of us to get ready at the same time. They even had a map of the area with all the fun places in the area were marked on the map & there was an umbrella for us to use which came in handy. The bedroom is upstairs & the bathroom is downstairs, so if that is an issue, this might not be the place for you. We didn't mind at all because there was a large full length mirror upstairs so it made it easy for one person to get ready up there & with all the natural light it was great for putting on makeup up there. I would highly recommend the Hotel Soma!"

"This used to be a good hotel they had a shuttle and a van to take you to the stockyards. The floors where dirty, I had hair caked to my feet that was not mine. My father in law slipped in the shower and cut his arm open. I will not be staying here again, for the price we should have just stayed in cow town since we had to pay for an uber."

"Fabulous property! The room was spacious, bed was extremely comfortable, shower was roomy with unbelievably good water pressure. The staff from the valets to checkin went above and beyond. Gave excellent service and recommendations. There are so many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance, and the area itself is gorgeous (cobblestone streets, eclectic architecture, and kept clean and orderly in general). The coffee stand right inside the door to Il Modo in the entrance area of the facility was a great feature. Whenever we come back to Ft Worth, the decision about where to stay has already been made for us. Kimpton Harper, you are doing things RIGHT!"
