Expensive but definitely NOT a lodge!
Advertised as Balderton Lodge sleeping 9. Should rather read New Balderton 3 Bed council house. If the description and price had been the later then the basic accommodation would have been perfectly acceptable (with issues). However to call it a lodge and charge so much.... (note the lack of external photo) The house itself is serviceable, basic and has 3 usable bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and conservatory. It has one toilet/bathroom. The beds are all pretty wrecked needing at least new mattresses. Also there isn't enough bedding to use the downstairs sofa bed and futon. We tried to request extra bedding but never got a decent response. The neighborhood is ok but the big barbed wire on the council flats next door says this might not always be the case.
