"The staff, and locals made me feel so welcome. I stayed overnight for business and was perfect. As a single female I was doubtful, but wow I was blown away with the kindness of all. Room was spacious, comfy bed, bedroom and bathroom was spotless. I would definitely stay again. Car park is safe. They are also dog friendly which in my eyes is 10 out of 10. The food arrived piping hot, and home cooked. "

"Very quiet area and very flat. Great if you like animals, dogs, hens, sheep, horses and a turkey are within the grounds. Vintage mismatched rooms and fabulous breakfast with home made bread. Not much entertainment but 2 pubs nearby, one within walking distance, other serves food until 8pm. Lincoln city, castle and cathedral worth a visit. Very entertaining host, lovely family and winner of four in a bed!"

"The pillow cases and duvet covers smell so bad. Nobody cares if you are sleeping or not because someone was playing music at 1am and there is another guy making calls and running up and down the house 2am. "

"On arrival we was welcomed by Richard who made us feel welcome straight away. We was given room 6 which was absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean & beautifully decorated. Soon afterwards Kerry came & introduced herself, what a lovely couple they are. The rooms are in a lovely peaceful setting, ideal for relaxing or even to travel the short drive into Bawtry. We would highly recommended you check this place out"

"My stay at the Goat House was magical. The decor and the whole ambiance were superb as was the service. Samantha was very welcoming and extremely helpful. I arrived somewhat later than expected. I was on my way to a function which was further away than anticipated. Samantha kindly offered to take me there and collect me afterwards. This made the whole evening far more enjoyable for me as i didn't have to worry about driving and maybe getting lost. Breakfast was brought to me in the morning...

"Whereever we stay, we find it noisy, because we live in a very quiet rural area. Some others may not even notice the road noise."

"I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! "
