"Our group were very comfortable in this beautiful lake home. We had privacy and quiet to enjoy the lake. The Minnesota temperatures were fluctuating, like usual, and we enjoyed the board games inside when we couldn’t be outside. Battle Lake is a quick drive away for food and entertainment, as well. We highly recommend Shoreline restaurant and don’t forget to head in the back for bowling when it’s raining. The kayaks and paddle boats were a big hit when the temperature was cooperating with a large, sandy beach. We listened to loons in the evening while enjoying a lovely fire. Don’t hesitate to rent this gem in lakes country for an unforgettable family getaway. "

From submitting my rental request to checking into the property, Tracy was a dream to work with--responsive, thorough, friendly. The lakehome was perfect for our stay--comfy couches and beds, decks with good seating, spacious open floor plan in kitchen/dining/living areas, and fun retro decorations. The location on the lake afforded beautiful sunrises and peaceful surroundings. And we were close enough to Frazee and Detroit Lakes to do some exploring and troll hunting. All in all--FABULOUS!!I highly recommend staying at The Outpost and hope to return myself one day!"
