"The room was in a great location - close to everything! Staff was friendly and helpful. The free snack bar items were a plus. The restaurant had some really nice drinks, and the view was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"A lovely, quiet hotel tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Edinburgh’s city centre. We felt that the room was good value for money and was clean with very comfy beds. The breakfast buffet had a decent variety of options and was tasty. The only thing that you may want to consider (not marking down the hotel for this, just a note) is that the walk from the main city centre with the most popular tourist attractions and train station is about a 20-25 minute walk either over Calton Hill (very beautiful, but unpaved in places and quite steep) or approaching from the other direction which is ever so slightly longer and still somewhat uphill, but paved. This didn’t really bother us once we were settled in, but we did wish that we had booked an Uber or a taxi when we initially had to walk from the train station to the hotel with our suitcases. Just something to keep in mind! Thank you Voco Edinburgh for a great stay!"

Their kindness and exceptional service turned a standard hotel stay into an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The team here are truly special."

"The location is outstanding. Easy walking distance to both the Old and New Town, but on a small side street, so there is no noise at all. The facility is updated, clean, and comfortable. The staff is amazing: all there extremely helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Julietta, who was not only very helpful, but also always smiling and cheerful. The room is well-stocked with kitchen utensils and coffee, milk (even oat milk), tea, cookies. And you can always request additional supplies when needed. In-room washer/drier was very handy."
