"It has everything you need. It is close to calton hill. Its a nice hike from the Forth. Only thing is do not expect early check in to he accommodated. Ours was right on time."

"Very impressed with this place, and we only stayed for a single day, but wish we had booked here longer. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, the room was spacious and well equipped. Showers and bathroom big. They had a main lobby area with a coffee machine, teas, and plenty of snacks and foods for purchase. The units were connected/adjacent to the mall, located right near Waverley station. Would stay again in a heartbeat. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly."

"There was construction at the hotel, which I was not made aware of prior to booking but for the most part the hotel was excellent. The staff was very polite, kind and professional. I really appreciate the service. The breakfast was excellent. The upgraded room was a nice touch, allowing me to see the castle from my room."

"Staff were so helpful and accommodating. Pool facilities were lovely and relaxing especially considering how poor the weather was the weekend we visited. Really excellent location for getting around the city as well as Waverley train station. Breakfast was also lovely. I would definitely stay again!"

"We have nothing but good things to say about Voco Edinburgh - Royal Terrace. The hotel is beautiful and the service is fantastic. We were originally staying in a standard room, which was lovely, but our bathroom fan wasn't operational, so the staff upgraded us to what we think was a premium room, which was just beautiful. The hotel in the perfect spot, where it was walkable distance to the city center, but in a slightly quieter area surrounded by great little coffee places and shops. We definitely recommend staying at the Royal Terrace and choosing the premium room when visiting Edinburgh."

"My wife and I had a great stay at this property on a 4-day visit to Edinburgh. It's centrally located in the New Town, close to Princes Street and a short walk to Old Town and the Royal Mile. It's got a boutique-y vibe which we liked. Everyone we met on the staff was very friendly and helpful, and helped us arrange accommodations when our return flight was cancelled. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and we greatly appreciated how clean and made-up it was when we returned at the end of a long day of exploring beautiful Edinburgh. One of the hotel's great features is its extensive continental breakfast. Everything we tried was good, and they have plenty of seating. We would very highly recommend this hotel, and would absolutely stay there again!"
