"Home was more interesting than the website! We really enjoyed our 2 day stay, as it was close proximity to Rusk and Palestine area. Loved the decor and home has everything you would need for a short stay, minus groceries. Artwork, books and Netflix made for interesting and non boring interior! The bedding is nicely chosen and beds were reasonably comfortable. Geese on the property weren't too scary, we just respected their territory. Only complaint would be there is not enough hot water to enjoy the garden tub in Master bath. The care taker of the property heated the hot tub for us so we were very happy! I would recommend the Crown Goose for a get away for adults, and not small children."
